I had some great memories with 1st Langley. Made some amazing friends and some memories that will stay with me forever. Learnt some cool skills and had some awesome fun along the way too. The best time I had with 1st Langley was definitely Wings 2003, it was a once in a lifetime experience and I'll never forget it.

So many memories, and many happy years- Beaver Scour Leader, Assistant Scout Leader, and then Scout Leader. So many young people I am proud of , many the leaders now where my Beavers or Scouts ! how old am I !! Made many life long friends, some have even become In Laws ! 1st Langley has always been a home to me for Scouting I am proud that every 4 years 1st Langley host the Japanese from Gifu along with my current group (15th Long Eaton Scouts) at Wings I love it - my scouts are now the leaders, I gave something back to the world. Thank You 1st Langley you made me me and have given me very happy years.

1st Langley Scout group welcome me with open hearts when I joined as a Scouting Assistant and provided Lots of warm memories too.The skills I learnt at 1st Langley such as leadership, team and organisational skills in working with both beavers, scouts and leaders alike has been invaluable to me and which I have taken on board at work.1st Langley Scouts has provided fond memories for my son who was also a Beaver and Cubs. The group allowed him to develop, meet other cubs of his own age and provide a place where children can learn a variety of things about scouting and provided a platform to gain life skills as well.8fata

Lots of memories, too many to write. I still consider 1st Langley my scouting home. Started there as a little kid in Beavers and went up all the way to scouts and was very sad to leave all the good friends I had and get times I could remember, when I went to Discovery Explorers. The most fun I had there has to have been Wings 2003. But many other camps were highly memorable. I also have to say the skills I learnt there over the years such as knots, map reading, organisation and simple team work and leadership have been invaluable to me in the real world and at school, university and work. Great times.
